Book finished: Singularity Sky

Singularity Sky by Charles Stross

Charles Stross doesn't do anything halfway. This is a story of extremes. 19th century authoritarian throwback culture meets post-singularity head-on. There are some good characters in the story, and it's not a bad story but it didn't really say anything new to me. The fact that so many things are just taken for granted with no explanation indicates that perhaps there's no new ground being covered here.

Just "OK" in my book.
